Wow we are busy!

Well you haven't heard much from me since we moved to Texas.  I think of the Three short months we have been here we have had company for most of that time.  It is amazing how many people you know - come through Dallas for this that or the other.  It's fun seeing everyone. BUT WOW ITS FAST PACED!

Life has been a whirlwind of activity from Joshua starting off in the Singles' ministry at Fellowship and then being moved to a Director position overseeing all of the Student Ministries 6th-12th grade for Fellowship globally.  It has been an exciting move for us because we love students.  But, no matter where we get placed our Motto here is I am willing to do Anything, Everything, or Nothing at all to get the job done!  I like that Motto.  More churches should have it.  We have more Anything and Everything weeks than Nothing weeks, but that is good.  Busy fights lonely and I have had plenty of that.
I have myself so involved in a bajillion things - that way I cant feel sad.  Numb out for Jesus! Kill those summer blues - cause yall - its so blue blazing hot here - you don't even want to go out into the water its so hot.  You just stay inside for days on end!  I took three showers a day when we first moved in!   It has and is taking a while to adjust to the weather.  I know in the winter I will be doing a little song and dance, but for now I just wish I could see a red or orange fall leaf. 
I have joined the choir here.  I sing on front-line periodically, and that is a Thursday night commitment.  I volunteer at Flavour on Tuesday night once a month, and lead worship for Flavour  at the Ft. Worth Campus once a month.  Once a week I go to a small group of women on Tuesday mornings called Flavour influence Groups.  The Mix is the Sr. High ministry that happens on Wednesday night and I have been attending that as well. The kids LOVE going to church, If we don't attend all three services on Sunday they are totally bummed and look forward to Wednesday nights at Power Up SOOOOO much!
My house is a wreck obviously - so I need to go clean - but I just thought I would let you all know what were up to and why you haven't seen or read a blog post from either of us in a while! God is good!  We love working for Him.  Lifechange makes all the crazy worth it!
